Enso Natural Whetstone

The Enso Natural Whetstone is a high quality Japanese natural stone that works great as a finishing stone when sharpening your high quality Japanese knives. This stone is relatively hard, with a grit range of approximately 4000-6000, and produces a highly polished edge. It is made of natural stone that was cultivated from the seabed off of Tsushima Island in Japan. This natural sharpening stone cuts well and produces very little slurry. The sides and bottom of the stone are coated in lacquer to prevent cracking. No need to soak (in fact, it’s not recommended to keep this stone submerged in water); simply splash and go! 

Measures 8 x 3″ and is 1″ thick. Made in Japan.
