e-VDS Plus – Dental Charting System

The Electronic Veterinary Dental Scoring program (e-VDS) is an online dental charting software available for all veterinarians. It is a valuable tool to improve communication with your clients. The core feature is a printout with your clinic data and logo that you give your clients after dental services (available in English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese).

While the basic version is a tool which is mainly aimed to support the general practitioner in his daily work, the advanced program provides a wide variety of scoring options for more advanced veterinarians.

The scorings can be kept as patient’s history sheets. The results are scored with mouse clicks on feline and canine dental charts (created by and used with the kind permission of David Crossley) for primary and permanent dentition. Clinical findings are scored in colored marginal markings, while treatments and missing teeth are scored in full-colored markings of the tooth.

Tutorials for General Practitioners

The program is linked to a tutorial to support the general practitioner in their daily work. It is based on visual clinical findings and includes photographs which lead to brief compact information such as diagnosis, aetiology, differential diagnosis and treatment options.
