Capacity

50L volume. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method. We use small balls to fill the main compartment and each pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container, which allows us to determine the equivalent volume in liters, with a tolerance of a few percent.

How do I fill my bag for optimal comfort?

Place the sleeping material on the bottom. Near the back, place heavy equipment (tent, stove, food). Clothes are to be stored around. Ground sheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if they have not found room inside. Keep a waterproof jacket and fleece handy. In the pockets, distribute the small equipment of the day (sunscreen, map, glasses…). The water bag is placed in the compartment provided along the back.

Recommended carrying weight

In accordance with the program for which this backpack was designed, we recommend that you do not exceed a loading weight of 15 kg. You will be able to benefit from all its qualities. In addition, in order not to put too much strain on your back, it is best not to exceed a loading weight equivalent to 20-25% of your own weight.

How do I pay for my bag?

Loosen all straps (shoulder straps, waist belt, load adjusters). First, adjust the back height of the pack. Put on the pack. Place the waist belt on your hips (it should cover the iliac bones of your pelvis) and tighten it. Tighten the shoulder straps. Tighten the chest strap. Adjust the load adjusters to bring the weight of the pack closer to you. The shoulder straps should wrap around your shoulders but not press too hard. If necessary, readjust the back height, making it shorter or longer.
