FAQ:
When can a plan be purchased through the dealer?
PROTECT PLUS plans are only available to be sold by the dealer within 30 days of purchase of the product. It’s best to sell the plan at the same time as the product as there is no waiting period for claims on plans that are purchased at the same time.
If a plan isn’t purchased with the product, can a plan be purchased later?
Yes, a plan can be purchased from the dealer within 30 days of the product purchase. After 30 days we offer plans for eligible products within 365 days of purchase through fujifilm-protect.registria.com. There is a 30 day waiting period for ADH claims for plans purchased days 2-30 after the equipment.
Can two products be purchased but only purchase coverage for one product?
We recommend selling protection plan coverage on all Fujifilm products purchased. If a customer chooses coverage on just one, be sure to have the customer activate coverage on the product associated with the protection plan.
How soon does coverage start?
PROTECT PLUS coverage begins on the date of purchase of the service plan with the exception that coverage for Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) has a 30-day waiting period after the purchase of the plan, unless the service plan is purchased at the same time as the product.
How to request a check & clean service?

Is there a deductible for a Fujifilm Protection Plan?
No. There is no Deductible required to obtain service on for a product under these plans.
How is a Fujifilm Protection Plan activated?
Owners will receive an email from Fujifilm within 72 hours of purchasing a Protection Plan from a Fujifilm Dealer inviting them to activate their plan. If an owner does not receive an activation email, please contact [email protected] on their behalf to have a new activation email sent. It is important, but not required to activate the plan. Activating the plan helps to ensure easy requests for
service.
How to transfer a Fujifilm Protection Plan if it was purchased as a gift?
To transfer a plan to the gift recipient, the original purchaser can send an email to [email protected] to request the plan be transferred to the new owner.
How to update personal information?
To update personal plan information, please have the current plan owner to email [email protected] with the specific information they are requesting to update.
How to file a claim?
- Call (toll-free): 1-833-313-3331 to submit a claim. When submitting a claim, please tell the owner to be prepared with their device proof of purchase (i.e. a receipt or invoice) as well as proof of device damage.
- Text Message: For fastest services, text the keyword ‘Fujifilm Plans’ to 71403. The owner will receive a personal invitation back via text message to a secure portal to start your service request. Text and data rates may apply.
- Online: An owner may also start a service request online by visiting fujifilm-protect.registria.com/protect.
How long does it take for claim resolution?
Our goal is to resolve claims within 5 days or less, not including time for logistics handling. If there is a delay for any reason, we will contact the owner with an update.

How to renew a Fujifilm protection plan?
We will notify the owner via email or text message when it is time for the owner to renew their plan. An owner can reference their order or activation confirmation email to check when their plan expires.

Are fujifilm protection plans available for purchase outside of the U.S.?
No. Currently Protection Plans are only available for purchase in the United States.
Can a customer buy a plan on grey market goods?
No.
What is the territory for this program?
Continental US, including Alaska, Hawaii and the District of Columbia. APO / FPO are not serviced at this time.
If an item gets replaced, can the consumer buy another warranty on top of a replacement?
Yes. They can purchase a plan from the plan administrator.
What isn’t covered?
Abuse, loss, and theft are not covered.
Claims & service resolution what level of service do these plans provide?
All service is factory certified and uses genuine Fujifilm parts whenever they are available.
What if the product is no longer available for replacement?
Our priority is to replace the product with the same product. If that model is no longer available, we will replace it with the then current model, and as a last resort, we can refund the purchase price of the product.
Do Fujifilm’s protection plans include tech support?
No.
Customer experience what happens after the customer buys the plan?
The order is automatically transmitted, and the customer will receive an activation email confirming the purchase with a link to provide additional information. Activation is not required for coverage. However, we encourage customers to complete this activation process as it will make it much easier to submit future claims.
