Stable thanks to its weightable base

The 143L tank that makes up the base can be ballasted with water (145 kg) or sand (160 to 196 kg). Sand is denser, so for the same volume, it will be heavier: your basket will be more stable (but less mobile). The water may freeze in winter and break the plastic base in very low temperatures or flow out invisibly if there is a crack. Our advice: for added safety, ballast your basket with sand.

Easy to maintain for long term use

We recommend cleaning your basketball hoop with a damp sponge and soap. Rinse with clean water. We recommend protecting your backboard with a tarpaulin against frost and rain. To avoid accidents or breakage in winds >60km/h, we strongly recommend laying your backboard on the ground. The larger the board, the greater its wind resistance. Finally, it is possible to add weights or secure it to the ground with the provided accessories.
