Isothermal

We tested this cooler in the laboratory, according to the EN 12546-2 standard, at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs, filled to half its volume. The time to go from 5°C (temperature of food coming out of the refrigerator) to 15°C is 5 hours. By adding 600g of ice packs, the time to go from 5°C to 15°C under the same conditions is 8 hours.

Capacity

Volume: 10 liters. Recommended for 1 to 2 people. Inside, you’ll find a system to keep your bottles upright during transport and a zippered pocket at the cap. Outside, you’ll find a zippered pocket, separate from the cooler, allowing you to keep your belongings dry and avoid any contact with the food in the cooler (wallet, keys, card, camera, etc.). The bag also has an external mesh pocket on one side.

Unfolded, here are the dimensions of the cooler: (Length x width x Height) External dimensions: 21 x 17 x 38 cm Internal dimensions: 20 x 16 x 32 cm Folded, the cooler is more compact and measures 21 cm in width, 8 cm in thickness and 35 cm in height.

Water Resistant

This backpack is not waterproof inside. The bottom of the backpack does not retain water. It is sometimes possible for condensation to form inside the bag and for a few drops of water to seep through the seams. Rest assured, this happens rarely and will not spoil your food.

How To Use

To keep your food fresher for longer, you can add ice packs to your bag. When loading your bag, we recommend placing the food you need to stay fresh together at the bottom of the bag. Finally, to increase the thermal performance of your insulated backpack, we recommend opening it only when necessary and closing it quickly.

The volume of each backpack is measured according to a standardized method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each of the pockets. We then empty the bales into a graduated container which then gives us the equivalent volume in litres.
