2018 Forth Vineyards Histoire Cabernet Sauvignon, Dry Creek Valley, USA (750ml)

TASTING NOTES:

Once again, the tiny Brown Family Vineyard tucked away in picturesque Redwood Valley has provided the fruit for this lovely wine. The blend is 81% Mendocino Cab, 9% Sonoma Cab, and 5% each Sangiovese and Merlot; a bit of a fussy blend perhaps, but we think you’ll agree that the resulting wine is spectacular. Dark fruit with notes of cherry and cassis, sun-warmed herbs and hints of cedar and toasty oak, are supported by fine-grained tannins creating a wine that is balanced and beautiful. This Cab is delicious now but could outlast some of us if well cellared. 541 cases produced
