The MJF-208-3 provides the same low frequency headroom and high intelligibility as Meyer Sound’s renowned MJF line of stage monitors in a lighter, more portable cabinet. It’s ideal for applications that do not require the higher output of the MJF-212A or MJF-210 and where stage space is limited.
The MJF-208-3 has two 8-inch high-power low frequency drivers and a 3-inch diaphragm compression driver coupled to a constant directivity horn, all mounted in a durable vented plywood enclosure. The dual driver design provides extended headroom and symmetrical coverage not found in other wedge monitor designs. The 70-degree horizontal by 50-degree vertical horn delivers excellent coverage in small spaces that do not allow many monitors.
Power for the drivers is provided by a three-channel, Class D amplifier with Intelligent AC™ that features automatic voltage selection, EMI filtering, soft current turn-on, and surge protection.
