The 40 Series GRIP2 shock delivers ultimate performance and control when the going gets tough. Equipped with the Variable Valve Control (VVC) high and low pressure rebound adjuster, improved compression damping and overall less friction, the 40 Series is equally at home in both the bike park and the World Cup racing circuit. “Factory” says it all. The cutting-edge technology we have to offer is available in our Factory Series models, with our supple and extremely durable Genuine Kashima Coat. These products have been proven in the World Cup. Kashima’s signature golden color is supported by its high-performance properties – properties that provide an exceptionally smooth feel and extreme durability. GRIP2 is our next generation sealed cartridge FIT system, our most powerful damper for gravity use. The new shock shares its roots with the original GRIP architecture, but has been seriously improved with all-new technology: 4-way adjustability, VVC high-speed rebound circuit, high-performance center valve and overall friction-reducing treatments. Our EVOL linear spring curve gives forks and shocks softness from the start, additional mid-stroke support and a more tunable end progression, allowing riders to find the ideal match between front and rear end feel.
