Ilford Obscura Pinhole Camera Kit

The Ilford Obscura Pinhole Camera Kit is designed for the 4 x 5″ format and is compatible with both sheet film and photo paper, enabling the creation of distinctive images characterized by an almost infinite depth of field without the need for focusing. This kit comes with 10 sheets of 4 x 5″ Ilford Delta 100 Professional film and 20 sheets of 4 x 5″ Ilford Multigrade IV RC paper. The camera’s construction secures the film or paper at the rear, ensuring a small border around the captured image.

With an 87mm focal length, it offers a wide-angle view comparable to a 26.1mm lens on a 35mm camera. The 0.3mm chemically-etched pinhole approximates an aperture of f/290, while a magnetic locking shutter facilitates precise exposure control. The shutter can be rotated in either direction to accommodate right or left-handed users, and a tripod bushing is integrated into the camera body for compatibility with standard tripods.

Additionally, the kit includes a straightforward exposure calculator, decorative stickers for personalizing the camera, and a light-tight box with three trays for storing exposed film and paper.
