Yamaha’s flagship speaker, the NS-5000 MK2, is an updated version of the acclaimed NS-5000 model – designed to deliver the purest possible reproduction without compromise. This three-way speaker pair combines Yamaha’s decades of loudspeaker expertise with the latest technology and craftsmanship.

Yamaha-developed ZYLON® in all elements
The tweeter, midrange driver and up to 30 cm woofer are made from Japanese ZYLON® material – an exceptionally light and stiff fiber with properties similar to beryllium but without its acoustic drawbacks. The result is a seamless and natural sound image that extends from deep bass to the highest treble.

Acoustically flawless enclosure
The speaker’s construction is inspired by the legendary NS-1000M: the 65-liter cabinet is made from carefully selected Japanese birch plywood and finished with a hand-crafted piano lacquer. Inside the cabinet is a Yamaha-developed Acoustic Absorber Tube system that eliminates cabinet standing waves without the coloration introduced by the damping material.
