The perfect cotton yarn

Maurice Brassard cotton yarns are wonderful all-round weaving yarns that are available in over 80 colours and in a range of sizes to suit almost any project.  Imported from a family-run mill in Canada who have a strong history in the production of quality yarns.

The spools are approximately 227g (1/2 lb) on a cardboard core.

Sizes available include Ne 16/2, 8/2, 8/4, 8/8 and 8/16.

The weaving sett varies depending on your individual project, the suggested sett for the Ne 8/2 yarns for lace is 16 epi, plain weave at 18-20, and 20-24 for twill weave structures. 

This cotton yarn is great for both warp and weft and can be used with a frame or tapestry loom, rigid heddle, table loom or floor loom. Sample colour cards are available for this yarn.
