Not all race bikes are designed equally. The quality of the Litening C:68X SLX, for example, is defined by an extremely successful combination of low weight, top driving comfort on long journeys and incomparable aerodynamics. Almost unfair, but still UCI compliant. Its Mavic Cosmic Carbon SLR 45 wheelset combines extremely wind-efficient design and feather-light comfort. And thanks to the radio-controlled Sram Red 2×12-speed AXS shifting/braking unit, speed fans benefit from a wide gear range and maximum braking power at the touch of a finger from the handlebars. There are these rules – and a road bike has to comply with them in order to be admitted to UCI races. So we set out to make the Litening C:68X’s carbon frame even more aerodynamic without breaking the rules. How did we manage to do that? Using our high-quality C:68X® composite material, complex CFD analysis and real-world wind tunnel testing. The result is 30% less air resistance in the form of a completely UCI-compliant chassis, which creates a fully integrated set-up with fork, stem, handlebars and seat post. At the same time, this racer is extremely comfortable to drive. It offers tire clearance for tires up to 28 mm wide and can be used with all current watt measuring systems. But his specialty is and remains: speed, speed and more speed!
