Set of six Transenna chairs in wood, designed by Titina Ammannati and Giampiero Vitelli and produced by Pozzi and Verga in 1970s.
Giampiero Vitelli began his career as a designer at a very young age, designing significant and innovative pieces for home furnishings and studying new production technologies. In 1961 the collaboration with Titina Ammannati began and together they worked in the field of private construction, restoration, furniture and design, contributing significantly to the success of Italian design. They collaborate with Italian and foreign industries; in particular until 1970 with Rossi di Albizzate of which they defined both the production and the design; since 1970 with Brunati of Alzate Brianza, for whom they also designed and built the industrial building. Since 1988 they have collaborated with the company “i 4 Mariani” for which they designed various types of upholstered furniture, in particular the electric sofa “Up & Down” in 1999.
