• Ultra-Lightweight Construction: Cut at 76″ in length, the Ruckus weighs in at just 14oz. The Ruckus Flyweight ensures minimal fatigue during long-distance paddling and competitive racing.

• Premium 30T Carbon Fiber: Utilizes high-modulus 30T carbon fiber for exceptional stiffness and strength, facilitating maximum energy transfer with each stroke.

• Optimized Blade Design: Features a deep double concave blade with a  ~86 sq in blade, providing a powerful catch and smooth release, enhancing stroke efficiency and reducing flutter.

• Ergonomic Shaft/Handle: The shaft is a medium-stiff flex with both power plus it’s easy on the shoulders and elbows.  “After paddling for 20+ years, I’m all for shoulder and elbow love”- jason. The handle design offers a comfortable grip and improved control, allowing for precise maneuvering and reduced hand, wrist and elbow strain.

• One-Piece Precision: Fixed-length, one-piece construction eliminates potential weak points, reduces weight as much as possible, and ensures consistent performance and durability.

📏 Specifications

• Weight: between 13 oz and 16 oz, depending on cut length.

• Blade Size: Approximately 86 sq in.

• Blade Shape: Medium in surface area (don’t get too hung up on size), slightly rounded square tip for strong yet forgiving catch (balanced) with double-concaves for water retention on the pull and no flutter.  The ideal 10-degree blade-to-shaft angle, which is science-backed for 95% of high-level paddlers with good mechanics.  *Size is one of many variables and is overstated and overrated.  For example, a size L paddle can have inefficiencies or “leaks” that make it slower than an S. A size M or L can feel awful and test slower, whereas other M or L sizes feel amazing and test faster.     Our 86 sq in blade is both efficient and buttery smooth, making it perfect for almost every paddler.   It can be incorporated into a fast or medium cadence. 

• Shaft Material: 30T Carbon Fiber

• Grip: Ergonomic Palm Grip for comfort and control.  Size and shape allow for a more open and relaxed hard position compared to a smaller-sized ergo handle or more typical T-grips.  This relaxed hand position has been shown to reduce strain on the hand, forearm and elbows.
