SAMASZ KDT DISC MOWER, 7′ to 11′ WIDTH

KDT Disc Mowers are equipped with the SaMASZ PerfectCUT™ cutter bar for rugged use and easy serviceability. Features of the PerfectCUT bar include: hardened discs with a special shape for improved crop flow; replaceable inserts for improved cutter bar protection; hardened knife holder pins; optional topping skids to increase mowing height up to 5″; SafeGear disc module which allows for fast and easy disc module replacement and safety protection for the entire cutting bar; and of course – quick change disc blades.

A mechanical safety breakaway device and overrunning clutch protect the disc mower and drive change from obstacles. The mower uses a single acting hydraulic cylinder for raising the cutter bar into transport position, with a mechanical locking system for safe transport.

A spring loaded mounting system provides for step-less adjustment of ground pressure. The mower has the ability to cut above and below horizontal to 30 degrees. The unit is equipped with a parking stand, blade change bar and a rugged tarp cover for operator and bystander protection.
