Due to their weight, high-pressure contents, and unwieldy shape, industrial gas cylinders require a specially designed hand truck to minimize accidents and injuries. Constructed of 1-in (25-mm) and 1.25-in (32-mm) diameter steel tube with continuous welding, these hand trucks provides optimum safety, strength and longevity. Robust, v-shaped cylinder support cradles keep cylinder snug and secure, reducing cylinder rolling common in curved back designs. Durable 1.5- x 54-in (38-mm x 1372-mm) polypropylene support straps, lab tested to 1138-lb (516-kg), feature steel cinch buckle and hold individual cylinders securely for safe transport.

Heavy-duty, 11-gauge (3-mm) floor plate with safety fins prevent warping or breaking. Features unique zero-lift height loading, allowing floor plate to lay flat, thereby eliminating the need to lift cylinder during loading and unloading. Caster carriage features heavy steel bars and nylon washers for smooth folding action and easy storage in tight spaces. Corrosion-resistant powder-coat finish throughout for long life and smooth handling. Upper handle sections bolt in place for reduced package size in order to save on freight costs.
