29mm balanced aluminum dome tweeter made of aluminum alloy. The aluminum alloy housing of the Z-Treble connector allows the tweeter to remain flat and linear on ultrasonic paths. Unique diaphragm shape, developed by HSDOM (Harmonized Synthetic Diaphragm Optimum Method) computer analysis, eliminating differential vibration produced by the diaphragm and improving high frequency dispersion.

Pioneer’s Vertex Drive system improves the mechanical connection between the voice coil and the tweeter diaphragm by reducing distortion and flicker caused by low attenuation and by increasing power handling.
