The JACKOBOARD Plano Tile Backer Board is a water-repellent construction board made from extruded polystyrene foam, perfectly suited for use in interior construction and furnishings – especially in rooms subject to high moisture levels. It can be installed on virtually any material, suitable for use on both floor and wall applications.

The JACKOBOARD Plano can be cut to any desired shape and to any dimension. Thanks to the different thicknesses, there is no limit to the design flexibility of the tile backer boards for wall, floor and construction applications. They can be used on virtually any substrate and master every challenge thanks to their easy use.

The whole board is completely waterproof and stable – it is not affected by moisture, humidity or movement in the substrate.

Additional Information

• Jackoboard tile backer boards are not self-supporting. In order to support the base firmly when creating a level-entry design on a suspended timber floor a sub-floor must be constructed between the joists using, for example, 18mm plywood.
