Ulano Rubylith masking films are light-safe, knife-cut films coated on a polyester backing sheet. Designed for manual or plotter cutting, they produce masks for film contacting, plate making, and film positives for photographic stencil production.
The polyester backing ensures dimensional stability. While 300-gauge polyester is standard, 500-gauge polyester is recommended for applications requiring tight registration or large-format masks and positives.
Rubylith is a red masking film suitable for camera-speed darkroom films and all screen printing stencils.
