The Rpanion Pi Connect Lite V2 is a power supply HAT designed for seamless integration with Raspberry Pi and compatibility with ArduPilot and PX4 flight controllers, specifically tailored for robotics applications. This compact board consolidates essential features, including a 5.1V/3.5A low noise power supply, telemetry ports for flight controller connectivity, and a power button for safe shutdown of the Raspberry Pi, which requires software configuration.
It adheres to the Raspberry Pi HAT specification and is compatible with models 2, 3, 4, 5 Zero, and Zero2. The board is equipped with a high-efficiency power supply, reverse input protection, and ESD protection, ensuring reliable performance. It features an XT30 power connector and supports a wide input voltage range of 7 to 30V, suitable for a 6S Lithium battery.
The design includes overcurrent and short circuit protection, low EMI and EMC, and an additional UART for Pi 4 and 5. The telemetry ports use a JST-GH 6-pin DroneCode standard connector, facilitating easy connection to flight controllers. The major updates from the previous version include a change to the XT30 power connector, a power button for improved functionality, reduced EMI/EMC, and an additional JST-GH telemetry port.
