| The HLA Series is designed for rugged industrial applications in hazardous locations where the possibility of explosions or fire exists due the presence of certain flammable gases, vapors, powdered metals or dust. For Industrial and commercial use. For indoor use only. ETL-CETL Listed Operating voltage rate of the heaters is 60Hz and 1725 RPM. Permanently sealed, liquid to air finned tube heat exchanger core. Ethylene Glycol to water mixture used as a heat transfer fluid in the heater core, providing -45°C. (-49°F) freeze damage protection. It has a high-performance electric motor driven fan that blows air across finned tubes to effect the uniform heat transfer and area heat distribution. Rated at 6,000 cycles of service the HLA Series has a manual reset capillary type limit that provides high temperature regulation. The pressure relief valve for overpressure in made from stainless steel and aluminum. For additional protection a back-up contactor is included. All contactors and back up contactors are heavy duty type and break all ungrounded conductors. They are rated for 10,000 cycles at full load. A standard 24-volt circuit shall be supplied by internal class II transformer. The cabinet is made from 14 gauge steel that is finished off with powder coated epoxy paint, and contains the heater core, motor, and fan assembly. To shield all moving parts the Dura box is made with a narrow gap safety fan guard, plus the adjustable louvers allow for directional control of the air. With no less than ¼ inch spacing the cover fits the OSHA requirements. The motor is a permanent split capacitor type, that is permanently lubricated, ball bearing type. Copper conductor wires enclosed in rigid metal conduits carry all electrical power. The box lugs are furnished for field connections within approved enclosure. Before selecting a hazardous location electric heater it is suggested that you refer to article 500 or other applicable standard referenced in the National Electric Code. The pipe mounting kit is particularly useful in building with insufficient strength to use the other types of mounts. It requires3 ½ “pipe. Hanging mounting kits are simple and economical if an adequate overhead structure exists. Requires ½” pipe, cut and threaded (not supplied). Wall mounting kits are ideal for use in buildings that have substantial walls. The arm only, can be bolted directly to structural steel. Lead time 2-8 weeks pending on product and element type.
