With adequate watering and protection from the hot afternoon sun, the variegated leaves stays beautiful through the spring, summer and fall. I do recommend pruning this dove tree back to keep it shorter and denser. ‘Lady Sunshine’ will average 18-24 inches of growth per year reaching 15-20 ft in 10 years.
