As a result of supplier related challenges impacting the availability of the popular HYDRAcap® MAX UF modules, we have recently launched our own Parkway Process Solutions (PPS) brand of UF modules as a suitable replacement for the Hydranautics HYDRAcap® MAX UF modules, to ensure we can continue to supply and support our significant customer base, which rely on PPS to keep them operating.

The retrofit option for the Hydranautics HYDRAcap® MAX80 is the PPS Ultrafiltration (UF) module, PPS-A01MSFUF1090CX.

HYDRAcap® MAX is a technology using ultrafiltration PVDF TIPS hollow fibers (0.08 micron pore size). The pressurized hollow fiber modules are suitable for a wide range of applications as either final treatment or as pretreatment to reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF).

HYDRAcap® MAX offers combined benefits of high recovery and low footprint due to its optimized membrane area and novel cleaning regimes. High strength PVDF membrane minimises fibre breakage rate and ensures consistently superior filtrate quality. This enables RO and NF systems to be operated at higher fluxes while maintaining longer intervals between cleanings. No backwash pump is required for HYDRAcap® MAX systems. Physical cleaning is performed with air scouring thanks to a unique and patented air diffuser design.

The HYDRAcap® MAX modules are compatible with the HYDRAcube system: A pre-engineered and standardised rack system where all modules connections are integrated within a single header piece. This system allows HYDRAcap® MAX modules to operate in robust conditions and in an optimized footprint environment. The HYDRAcube system is available separately and is not supplied with an individual module.
