About the Mann+Hummel Klar K-01UA08 Ultrafiltration System

The Mann+Hummel Klar K06-08UA ultrafiltration (UF) system incorporates six proprietary UA860 cartridge to provide a safe and consistent water supply, despite variances in feed water suspended solids (TSS) levels. The Mann+Hummel Klar ultrafiltration system generally does not require feed water pH modification or use of coagulants and flocculants, resulting in substantial cost savings and low logistical operating requirements.

 

About the AQUADYN® UA860 UF module

The AQUADYN® UA860 UF modules feature a 0.025-micron pore size Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) hollow fiber membrane potted in a U-shaped arrangement. With the ability to tolerate oil and grease, these modules are most suitable for treating oily waters and wastewaters from various industrial processes. They operate at a very low feed pressure due to the high hydrophilicity of PAN membrane, which leads to energy savings.
