This makes this knife not only highly functional, but also a true eye-catcher in your kitchen. This knife is suitable for cutting vegetables very small and peeling thinly. The tip of the knife is slightly rounded so you can quickly cut through your vegetables, even from an angle. We recommend hand washing and drying this knife immediately after use. This edition of the Epoxy Sapphire Series has been finished to perfection. The Damascus steel blade continues in a beautiful epoxy sapphire bolster. One half of the handle is made of oak, continuing in beautiful blue sapphire epoxy. 1 gold and 2 black rings are the finishing touches on the handle, each different and truly a work of art in itself.

VG10 67 layers of Damascus Steel 
The knives of Shinrai are one of a kind and mostly handmade. Each side of the blade consists of 33 layers of the best steel. Both sides are forged on a layer of VG10 steel, creating Damascus steel. This production technique is an ancient art, resulting in harder and stronger knife blades. These properties make the knives of Shinrai essential for every kitchen and chef.
