The Powermatic Nautilus was known for being automatic and displaying the power reserve. Besides being an attractive watch to wear, it is also a power player with the caliber 481 behind its 14k yellow gold caseback. Special on this LeCoultre is that is was produced and timed in the USA and for the US market back then.
The caliber 481 was one of the first automatic movements to display the power reserve, and it has the “bumper” effect caused by the swinging motion of the rotor. We love the symmetrical design especially the sword hands and evenly aged lume.
