CRIA Platinum Album award for Sum 41 album All Killer, No Filler. Released on May 8, 2001, it was certified Platinum by the CRIA (Canadian Recording Industry Association) on Sept. 5, 2001.*

The album produced the hit single “Fat Lip”, which reached #1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. The album peaked at #13 on the Billboard 200 and #9 on the Canadian Top Albums Chart, #7 in the UK and it also charted on numerous other world music charts. It is the band’s best-selling album, having by 2004 been certified 3x Platinum in Canada.

Detailed Item Description: This is a CRIA Platinum award manufactured in 2001 making it approx. 24 years old. It is presented to the group’s manager Ari Martin.

This award is in Excellent condition with original manufacturer’s sticker. It has only a very minor mar or two on its metal frame.

Notes on the condition of all vintage awards: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have “good’ wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.

As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager’s offices, radio stations, private collector’s homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist’s or songwriter’s home. Typically, we don’t know all the places they may have been over the years other than what we’ve stated in the description.
