1948 HAMILTON USA ‘Ashley’ Gents Dress Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this all original, elegant American made HAMILTON dress watch for men from the late 40s in design known as the ASHLEY in gold filled.

The watch houses a strong and classic 982 manual wind movement with sub seconds, running on 19 jewels and is a quality high grade American made movement. It is cased in a 14K gold filled case with an original flat crystal and a signed original crown.

The dial was professionally restored with the right print – made of Sterling silver in ‘butler’ finish with applied solid gold numerals. It has an original set of hands.

This Hamilton watch measures 23mm side to side (excluding crown) and 36mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for vintage standards.

Attached to this watch is a brand new, quality Italian made Buffalo Gran genuine leather band in dark brown tone, 18mm wide, with anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
