20s HAMILTON USA ‘Cushion Plain’ Gents Art Deco Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this elegant and American made early HAMILTON dress watch for men from the late 20s in Art Deco design. This design is known as the ‘Cushion Plain’ model in white gold filled.

The watch houses a legendary 986A manual wind movement, running on 17 jewels. It is cased in a classic Wadsworth 14K white gold filled casewith mint crystal and good crown.

The original dial made of thick silver was professionally restored here in our atelier in the correct white tone and has Art Deco numerals filled with non-toxic Super-Luminova™ material. The same material was used on the original set of skeleton hands.

This Hamilton watch measures 27mm side to side (excluding crown) and 35mm from top lug to bottom lug and is relatively modest in size even for a vintage watch.

Attached to this watch is a brand new, quality genuine leather band in padded black tone, 16mm wide, with anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
