You need this adapter if you plan to use Televue’s NPR-1073 or RFL-4087 0.8x Reducers on an NP101, NP127, or TV102 telescope. Reducer adapter allows Televue Imaging System reducers to be used on standard 2″ focusers. This adapter can be used to mount the .8X reducers (TE-NPR-1073 and TE-RFL-4087) to the 2″ focusers of the non-“is” versions of NP-101, NP-127, or TV-102 telescopes.
