Onceyou remove two small Torx screws, the trim panel pops loose along the bottomedge and flexes just enough to give access to the latch. Remove two triple-square bolts, an electrical connector, and the old part slides right out.Reverse to install the new part. Easy-peasy. You do need special wrenches toremove the 2 bolts holding the latch, Triple Square Spline, the M8 size. Itsnot a typical 6 pointed torx, but a 12 pointed star pattern.
