Are there any special safety instructions to follow when using the T7XL scooter?
Generally speaking, it’s important to wear protective gear (helmet, knee pads, elbow pads) when using a scooter. Most serious accidents occur during the first few months of use: take the time to learn the basics of using a scooter to master speed and braking in all emergency situations and whatever the weather conditions. Stop using if the ground is slippery.
What quality of glide for the Oxelo T7 XL scooter?
This adult scooter is equipped with large 200 mm wheels with “high rebound PU” rubber. It is therefore efficient for all your travels: a large wheel facilitates relaunch while minimizing effort. ABEC 5 bearings offer good ride quality to limit relaunches and fatigue.
How do I maintain my scooter?
Wheels and bearings are parts that wear out. Remember to check them as well and replace them if necessary. Repairing and extending the life of your scooter is possible thanks to spare parts that are monitored and can be ordered from the workshop at your Decathlon store.
Suspensions for more comfort
To meet your needs and provide maximum riding comfort, we’ve equipped the T7XL with two suspensions: one at the front and one at the rear. These suspensions will greatly reduce the discomfort of rough roads or curbs.
Brakes and mudguards: practical for the city
The Oxelo T7XL scooter is equipped with a handlebar brake and a second brake on the rear wheel. This mudguard, long and enveloping, therefore also acts as a foot brake.
How much does the T7XL scooter weigh?
5,6 kg
What are the safety rules to observe?
We advise you to check the condition of your scooter before and after each ride, making sure that there is no abnormal play, cracks or sharp edges. Be aware that the wheels and bearings are parts that wear out: remember to check them too and change them if necessary.
What to do in case of play in the handlebars?
Between the bumps in the road and the accumulation of “shocks” and other vibrations, it is normal for some parts to loosen. It is possible to have the screws tightened in Decathlon workshops or to do it yourself with the Allen keys provided (and suitable for tightening 100% of the scooter’s parts).
How are our products tested?
All our scooters are laboratory tested. These tests make it possible to validate the European standards relating to the use of scooters but also the wear tests. These lab tests are supplemented by field tests, some measured, others based on the perceptions of the testers, who will then put the product to the test. The result: a tested, proven product.
Comfortable with its double suspension and handlebar brake. Move faster and further than on foot.
