Hardware Overview
The UPS is controlled by the LTC3350 controller and features four 7F/2.7V capacitors in series. It is positioned between the DC5V supply and CM4 components. A GPIO signal alerts the CPU during a power loss, prompting the CPU to execute an urgent script before the supercapacitor energy is depleted, initiating a “$ shutdown” command. Backup duration depends on system load.
