Stay

Square-shaped living room with a surface area of ​​6,25 m² and a maximum height of 2,25 m. Door height: 1,75 m (middle of door) Detachable groundsheet. Transform your Air Seconds Base Connect Fresh into a 2-person tent with the addition of the Base Connect bedroom (ref: 8602697)

Assembly and disassembly

All-in-one inflatable structure with a single inflation point for ease of use. We recommend inflating the tubes to 7PSI. Once inflated, the structure is self-supporting, meaning you can move it very easily. Thanks to a bellows system, you can connect it to your tent or van. Two poles are supplied with the living room to be able to lift the door in canopy mode. For simplicity, we recommend a 2-person assembly.

Sunscreen

The TiO²-coated fabric has a UPF of 0+. Caution: A significant amount of UV radiation can penetrate through a simple open door. Protect your skin with sunscreen.

Ventilation

Two face-to-face openings in addition to the side door with a mosquito net.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform. The goal is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity. With a well-designed setup and the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in winds of force 7, measured at 60 km/h. Don’t hesitate to regularly reinflate your inflatable poles during your stay at the campsite (7 PSI).

Impermeability

We test our stays to validate their impermeability. The first test is done in the laboratory for 3 hours under 200 liters of water per hour and per m², the equivalent of tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field in real conditions by our teams. This living room is equipped with a 2000 mm polyurethane coated polyester roof. It also has taped seams via heat-sealed strips and a 140 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet.

Repair

As designers and practitioners who love our playground, we are concerned about the resistance of our products. This is why all our tents and stays are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on Decathlon.fr.

Poles and stakes

Inflatable Arches – All our inflatable arches have a two-layer arch structure: a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) air chamber and a 600 denier polyester cover*. Stay reinforcement – An aluminum bar is present at the stay to stiffen the structure. Stakes – All our stakes are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm. *600 denier indicates a weight of 600 g for 9 m length.

Maintenance advice

Our camping stays have been designed for one-off outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping or nature outings. A continuous exposure of several weeks to UV can damage their textile part. These products do not fall into the “garden furniture” category and are not designed to be left outdoors permanently. To ensure optimal life for your stay, it is important to store it when not in use.
