Inflatable camping tent – air seconds 5.2 f&b – 5 places – 2 rooms

Our camper designers designed this Air Seconds 5.2 F&B inflatable tent for five campers wanting two separate bedrooms and a spacious living room.

Stay

Living room of 7,9 m² with a height under tent of 2,1 m. This tent is equipped with several features: – A zipped groundsheet with a raised basin at the entrances in case of rain – A transparent window with shutter – A mosquito net window with shutter – Storage pockets in the bedrooms and in the living room

Sleeping width

The large bedroom of this tent is designed to accommodate a maximum of three 70 cm wide mattresses. The small bedroom is designed to accommodate a maximum of two 70 cm wide mattresses. The partition separating the two bedrooms is removable.

Assembly and disassembly

All-in-one inflatable structure with pre-assembled bedrooms and flysheet. Thanks to our Quechua Ultim Comfort pump with integrated pressure gauge, we recommend inflating the tubes to 7 PSI pressure. To see this pump, copy the reference 8601387 and paste it into the search engine on our website. PUMP NOT INCLUDED For simplicity, we recommend 2-person assembly, but 1-person assembly is possible. Fresh & Black technology for more freshness and darkness in your tent:

Cooler and darker for better sleep! Fresh & Black is a Decathlon patented technology that allows us to reflect the sun’s rays and insulate light using specific materials. This reduces the feeling of heat in your tent and increases darkness. To make the most of this technology, don’t forget to ventilate your tent at night!

Sunscreen

Our Fresh&Black technology is based on a fabric with UPF 50+ sun protection. Caution: Be careful, as a significant amount of UV rays can pass through a simple open door.

Ventilation

The ventilated flysheet on the living room provides ventilation and limits condensation inside your tent. Outside each chamber is a high ventilation hatch. Inside each chamber is a large low ventilation hatch. The living room is equipped with a mosquito net and the bedrooms with high mosquito nets.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform. The goal is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity. With a well-made assembly and the guy lines deployed, this tent remains habitable in a wind force 7, measured at 60 km/h. Don’t hesitate to regularly reinflate your inflatable poles during your stay at the campsite (7 Psi).

Impermeability

We test our tents to validate their waterproofness. The first test is done in the laboratory for 3 hours under 200 liters of water per hour and per m², the equivalent of tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field in real conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a 2000mm polyurethane coated polyester flysheet. It also has taped seams via heat-sealed strips and a 190 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet.

Repair

As designers and practitioners who love our playground, we are concerned about the resistance of our products. That’s why all of our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on Decathlon.fr.

Maintenance advice

Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping outings or in the great outdoors. A continuous exposure of several weeks to UV can damage their textile part. These products do not fall into the “garden furniture” category and are not designed to be left outdoors permanently. To ensure that your tent lasts as long as possible, it is important to store it when not in use.

Poles and stakes

Inflatable Arches – All our inflatable arches have a two-layer arch structure: a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) inner tube and a 600 denier polyester cover*. Stay Reinforcement – An aluminum bar is present at the stay to stiffen the structure. Stakes – All our stakes are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm. 6 hard ground stakes are included. *600 denier indicates a weight of 600 g for 9 m length.
